Nope and it's generally not common here in Australia these days.  In my experience many of the doctors that do perform it (not many) do so because they have personal feelings regarding circumcision but perform the procedure under the guise of it being 'medically necessary'.  Very rarely is there a good reason for it and having assisted on a couple I see no purpose in inflicting that upon other beings.

No, it's particualrly rare in my home province. The rate of at-birth circumcision here in Canada is only about 20%, down from 48% in the 70/80's when it was all the rage.

Actually it is very common in the Middle east were almost every body that is Muslim is circumcised. A lot of the Christians in the Middle East are as well.
