Nope and it's generally not common here in Australia these days. In my experience many of the doctors that do perform it (not many) do so because they have personal feelings regarding circumcision but perform the procedure under the guise of it being 'medically necessary'. Very rarely is there a good reason for it and having assisted on a couple I see no purpose in inflicting that upon other beings.
