I really need to upgrade my PC, I allways play the older ones with the huge-army size setting on and I refuse to go lower than that. :P

20GB? Not cool. I'm sure they could have done it with less disk space.

i was looking at these preformance reports between the Core i5 and Core i7 compared to AMD 

and AMD best processor i believe the 6 core black edition one got around half the performance of the i5 on many tasks due to there old technology and the i5 is cheaper

which i5? the i5 is a family/range (mid range) of chips ranging from "cheap" duel cores to very expensive quad cores, but yes intel chips are faster but generally more expensive unless you are looking at higher end chips, for the low end go AMD mid to high go intel lol.

actually outside of MMOs yes it is...

Maybe you play the wrong games then. I don't play any MMOs and Shogun is by far not the first game that has ~20GB.
