Silent Hill 2 was a masterpiece and I have not seen anything like it and I will probably never see. Silent Hill the first story was too confusing. Silent Hill 3 was ok.

the room? It sucks badly. The beginning was interesting then the game lost itself.. Aside from the soundtrack which was EPIC, as expected from akira yamoka, everything else failed.

Homecoming is a good game with many flaws and it didn't feel like a SH game.

Shattered memories? I haven't tried it yet BUT I hear good things about it.

This one? I don't have enough info.

Horror fans SHOULDN'T miss on Amnesia , the best horror game I've played since SH2. I really can't recommend it enough.

While Alan Wake made me crave traditional survivior horror again (love that feeling of tension) the reality is that I'm about 30% done with Origins, 40% done with homecoming, and about 5% done with Shattered Memories. I like the series but I haven't finished a Silent Hill game in ages. I'll see what the critics say when this one comes out.

It is the scariest title I've played, period. Nothing gave me the same sense of claustrophobia and worry that Blood Curse did.

couldn't agree more. Siren really nails it when it comes to creepy atmosphere and terrifying zombie/shibito designs but when it comes to story and characters, it's really weak in that department imo.
