Nice to see the continued strong software sales for Wii. Still has many million sellers incoming in Kirby, Udraw, Goldeneye, etc.


360 with Kinect is looking very strong right now, but Wii still has one heck of a lead in US never mind worldwide, and going by the numbers it still managed to outsell 360/Kinect combo over the holidays despite the huge launch spike for Kinect and associated 360 spike... but yeah, it's going to get tough.

PS3 seems to be the niche (respective to the others even if it's sold fine respective to itself historically) console right now in US, solid enough, but clearly behind in baseline demand (albeit at a higher price point).



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Xbox 360 rocks! Ps3 can't compite with him... Kinect over 8m so far?!! WTF!! That's most be some new record. Halo Reach still selling well with 155k this week to top 7.55m worldwide. Black Ops (on 360) over 10m in 8 weeks. Microsoft is doing better and better every year. Remember the first xbox sell just 24m and his sucesor 51m and counting. By the way, everybody knows who console has the best online offer... Live is just the King of conected gaming.

I don't understand the big deal with Kinect.  I got one for my kids for Christmas and its a piece of crap.  I think I will stick with the Wii for my motion control gaming.

PS3 had a pretty weak holiday in America. All they had were GT5 and Move. And it's up YOY despite last year being the slim and Price Cut.

 Meh. Definately beats ps3 in America, but as for worldwide, it is more of a pendulum. Both get their turn in the spotlight every year. As for 360 doing better every year, wasn't it down YoY(at least WW) last year and the year before that, or am I gravely mistaken? Also at your last statement, that was a low blow. Kind of hurt, but I have a statement to make and it goes like this... By the way, everybody knows who console has the best exclusive games...PS3 is just the king of gaming.(note: If you are a Nintendo fan, just mentally switch ps3 with Wii) If my statement seemed snotty or snobby to any of you xbox360 fans, I have a feeling that is the way most ps3 fans felt after reading that other statement. Seriously though, all consoles are doing great, and no amount of fanboy tears will be able to pull any of the 3 out of this gen.
