I platinumed InFamous in 1 week total

and I'm currently playing Batman and all I can say is wow!

Story-better

graphics-better

main character-better

villains-way better

enviorments-better

EVERYTHING-BETTER

and the GOTY has 3D for any TV though I used it for 5 mins and my eyes hurt.

I agree with a lot of your points although I disagree with a few.

Story- I enjoyed Infamous's story better. It might be due to me not knowing much about Batman, other than what the movies tell me(which, is probably lies about the actual fictional universe), so I did not get all the winks and nods(if they were there)

Main Character- Agreed

Graphics-Agreed

Villians- Agreed

Environments- Agreed

Overall, I chose Batman AA over Infamous.

Neither.

Why not? Both were great.

Batman and it ain't even a contest. inFamous felt like a sandbox game starring a generic guy with super powers.  Batman was the perfect (and I don't use that word lightly.  I only use the word perfect to describe things that are perfect, mildly competent, and everything in between.) video game version of decades of comic book lore.  The narrative was tight, the graphics were impressive, and the package was better than anybody had any reason to expect.  I finished it multiple times whereas inFamous prompted me to quit after another "kill all the guys in the area" mission.

I've heard that inFamous got better and more gripping but I spent the whole game (I feel like I got halfway through it) waiting for something awesome to happen.  (I bought both of them the week that they came out, btw.) I look forwsrd to inFamous 2 more than any PS3 game coming out this year (except Uncharted 3) but the first game didn't do it for me at all.  I believe Sucker Punch will bring the goods this time.

yeah...it the middle part was kinda average, but it really hit its stride near the end. Thought it was fantastic.

I haven't played Batman AA, but I've heard good things about it. inFAMOUS is great too.

WHAT? batman man

Because I obviously don't agree ^^

Still, which one was better in your opinion, and what did you have against these games? What faults did you find in these games? Please elaborate.

inFamous never really connected with me. I liked the demo but it wasn't enough to get me into the store and buy a copy.

Batman Arkham Asylum last year was a sleeper hit for me and as a massive Batman fan, it was a fuckin awesome game in so many ways.

It was very fun to play and I cannot wait for Arkham City, which so far sounds and looks phenomenal!

Batman.

but it's close. I just loved the whole look of Batman, the flow of the combat, progression of the gadgets and the interaction with the villains more

the thing I didn't like in particular about inFamous was the annoying tracking down of thse damned shards

both are excellent games though.

Infamous. I've played it three times and I'm still not sick of it. I liked Batman, but I had to put down a few times because I got sick of it or my interest was just starting to wane. I'm looking forward to the Batman sequel, but I'd lick soy sauce off a sumo to get the Infamous sequel.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I have not played batman but if batman is like assassins creed without open world then I would have to say batman must be better, Infamous was good but not great. The story was fantastic but the graphics were bad and the storytelling could have been better. Gameplay was fantastic though.
