Forums - Sales - Best investment in 2010.

I was just wondering what are your choices for the game that was the best investment in 2010.  I don't buy many games at full price because I am never sure if the game is gonna be worth it.  Here is my rundown.

1.  Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (paid 60$).  So far, 20 hours played.  Now this game was a good investment.  I enjoy open world games and this one is by far my favourite.  The main story is interesting, the graphics are nice and their is a lot to do.  Grade:  A

2.  Fallout New Vegas (paid 60$).  I say this game is a good investment.  I have played around 35 hours so far, but the bugs and so so graphics are a let down.  The story and characters are amazing and I guess I could play another 35 hours without too much problems.  But, I don't really want to...  Grade: B

3.  Tron Evolution (paid 65$).  Super short single player campaign.  Amazing graphics and music.  And, the Tron Universe is very interesting to me.  I have competed the game 3 times.    Not bad.  I have played around 15 hours so far and I will go back to it in the near future.  Grade: B+

4.  Blood Stone (paid 65$).  Again, short single player campaign.  I went for it because it's James Bond.  And this game delivers in every way possible.  The music, voice acting and action are all top notch.  I also appreciated the graphics.  I am still on my first playthrough but I will absolutly play it again.  Grade: B+

So, from my point of view, 2010 was a good year for my full price purchase.  Of course, the overall winner, including used games, would go to Mass Effect 2.  I paid 20$ for that game. Simply amazing.

Please share your thoughts on the subject, if you want to.  Thanks!  Have a great gaming year!

Dragon Age Ultimate Edition($60): Played for 60 hours already and yet haven't completed the main game. There's still tons on DL content to finish for me.

Grade : AAAAAAAA (If there's anything like this).

Atelier Rorona($50) : Pretty cool game but not worth the money, even though its 24 hours long. The timed alchemy was the biggest minus point, felt like playing a flash game.

Grade : B

Splinter Cell Conviction ($50) : Fail game. No stealth elements whatsoever, when compared to Double Agent.

Grade : B

Mass Effect 2($50) : Very good game, worth the money imo. 30 hours long and does the job pretty well.

Although its not much rpg, it still has a good story.

Grade : A

Mine were Halo Reach - I love Halo story, and this one did not disappoint, Mass Effect 2 - haven't played the first one so it was a bit of a gamble, but ended up sort of liking it, it was a bit lame and repetitive in places esp the loyalty missions but overall a well executed game and I LOVED the endind, World At War map packs - clocked insane amount of hours on the zombies and multiplayer was pretty decent, although I couldn't even be bothered to prestige once and Red Dead probably. As I ended up nearly getting the full achievements on that, even got the Redeemed one, just couldn't be arsed for the multiplayer ones.

Still need to get later on:

AC:B and COD:BO

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

How the HELL did you write the plus sign? how? how? how?????

EDIT: I see it didn't carry over in the quote, but look at your OP, why can't I write "(Plus) "

Huh? it doesn't work

I personally think if i can get an hour per 3$ spent playing and enjoying its a good investment so

Heroes of Newerth $30 200hours A

Minecraft $10 30 hours A

Halo Reach $60 20hours B

Fallout New Vegas $60 20 hours B

Starcraft 2 $60 15 hours B

Though not to say I didn't enjoy some of the shorter games, just don't think its an amazing investment to play god of war 3 for 8 hours for $60.

Mass Effect 2 for 35€ on launch.  A

Paid $60 for Bad Company 2 and easily put close to 400 hours online on the game.  So would say it was a good investment.

Paid $150 for Halo: Reach ($550 total if I throw in the system too) and have put in about 300 hours online in that one.  Another great investment.

Would also consider Galaxy 2 and Red Dead Redemption great investments as well.

However, my worst investment has been Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2.  10 hours for 46/50 achievements and got the collector's edition for $80.  Wish I could take that one back.

Dragon Age Ultimate Edition($40) Great price!!!: I have played over 80 hours in Fallout 3 and I think it can be done in this game to.

Grade : AAA (price vs hours)

Fallout New Vegas collectors Ed.(paid 70$).   I have played over 80 hours in Fallout 3 and I think it can be done in this game to... (lol)

Grade : A (price vs hours)

Mass effect 2 collectors Ed.(paid 70$).  I can't get enough of Mass effect !!! I have played over 100 hours on Mass effect 1. I'm around  50 hours on Mass effect 2.

Grade : A (price vs hours)

Blur (20$) Great price!!!: What can I say...i'm addicted to this game and I got it on a boxing day sale.

Grade : B (price vs hours)
