I like the 360 as a console. But I have no plans to have a Kinect (at least with the current game lineup, I'm not impressed).
I don't know why the thing sells like hotcakes. Really I want to know.

"Microsoft has solved the Red Ring of Death (RRoD) issue with the new slim Xbox 360. It can’t happen, the lights around the round power button cannot turn red rendering the RRoD problem solved. But even though Microsoft may have side-stepped that common term, it has to have a way of signalling a failure on the new console. So rather than a red ring, you now get a red dot in the center of the power button. Therefore we may have to get used to the new term called Red Dot of Death, or RDoD for short. Kotaku is also suggesting we refer to it as RDoT. Which do you prefer? Microsoft is surely hoping RDoD never catches on because its new machine is quiet, cool-running, and very, very reliable. Only time will tell how true that turns out to be." Except.. The problem that was blown out of proportion is actually a warning that 360 is going to into standby after overheating of the system, to cool down that is. So it's a safety procedure. Please don't attempt to make up fake rumours, it's really petty, with millions of machines out there, there are likely to be common faults rather than individual by now.
I guess your guess that PS3 will be ahead of 360 by ~3m next year should have been a sufficient enough warning to me that you were BSing. |
ur taking this the wrong way and to suggest that i would BS is BS. i don't start false rummors, and if you want to trun this into one of those PS3 v 360 debates then look another way.
and like i've told plenty before u i don't care who wins wht yr or how; its just a prediction
sure im no fan of the 360 and sure im a Sony and Nintendo fan, but if the facts don't support the claim then i don't make it.
my track record here is of straddling the line and that won't change. if i was going to predict something then why wouldn't i have made my 2010 predictions where Sony makes it to 50m instead of MS?
my Predictions for 2010 where right wii 82m 360 48-50m PS3 44-47m
theres no need for me to defend myself to you when i've played the fiddle for all 3 sides. when you assume u make an ass out of ur self, and by assuming that by my predictions of PS3 passing 360 this yr that im BSing then you have done just that.
try keeping ur accusations to ur self or put them on someone else cause i don't have time for it.
Well, I need to get a 360 first but I'd wait for more interesting games to arrive before consideing a Kinect, unless it's like $30 or something.

As of now I am perfectly happy with the Wii and I also already share a PS3 with my brother.
Kinect does interest me though but I don't have a 360...for me to buy a 360 and Kinect the following would have to happen:
1) More games for the 360/Kinect that I would like.(So far only Alan Wake, Banjo-Kazooie N&B, Kinect Adventures, and Kinect Sports)
2) Price Cut the 360/Kinect bundle to $250(The bigger model) or $150(Smaller model)
Not only the games interest me though as so does the Voice Command and Avatar Kinect.
When pigs fly in a frozen hell on the day of black sun with a blue moon
Two things :
- Price cut for the Kinect 360 Bundle ( $149.99 - $179.99 )
- Core / Hardcore games
Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.
PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E
I have no intention of paying more than $79 for Kinect. When the price drops below that level and the device has some appealing games or implementations, I'll consider it.
Never! kinect is a casual family thing...not for the hardcore!
