Dude, despite the fact that I agree that people jump too quickly on the whole "King" bandwagon as all games have merits, using the critics reviews/users reviews is NOT the best of the indications as to whether a game is good or not, it's a foundation for your opinion and allows you to decide whether a game is worth the investment.

you do know that fanboys sabotage meta critic review scores. they do it on all of the popular website. at ign gears 2 has a couple of 0's from fanboys.

how isnt gt5 king compared to forza 3? it has better physics, and that is the most important thing in a SIM, it has 3d, head tracking, seasonal online events, an online dealership, more cars(even though the standerd dont look good and have no cock pit view they are still cars, some of the best cars in the game are standerd). it has rally, karting, nascar, a track creator, and gt tv.

Funny you'd say that.  LMFAO!!!!  People came here, provided you with very good points and arguments, and all you had to say was " GT5 is not King of Racing.  Farza 3 is" to counter them.  When people made sense, you just ignored their comments and went back to the meta scores bullcrap, which had already been proven as problematic by other people here (among those you conveniently ignore).   LOOLLLLLL!!

Aww come one now!  GT 5 may have better physics than any racing game on console ever, more cars than anything from the competition, and it may be the most content packed racer ever, but in Forza 3 you can put stickers and decals on your cars!!!  GT5 doesn't have that, so it's inferior to Forza 3!!!  **rolleyes**

gt5 OUTSIDE of Europe was a complete sales flop, based on the amount of hype and time in between releases of major gt, Europe ps3 fans are some of the most die hard fans there are in the world of anything, all the posting on here defending the game has come from European fans of the playstation brand. it did not reach 1.5 million in the U.S. even though it had black friday AND the whole december...which is the biggest retail month of the entire year. Iamgine if you will the game was released in april or march...it would of even of done much worse. in the end just enjoy the game if  you want but please for THE LOVE OF GOD quite coming on here acting like it is the best racing game ever made, NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR THAT SHIT ANYMORE!

Of course the best racing sims are on PC. But credit is due to GT for bringing something vaguely similar on consoles. Weren't for it, consoles would just have pedoplumbers luring kids with karts on Nintendo platforms, or something even cheesier on XBox.  O-)
