Dude i swear your a 360 fan fag. Havent you seen Sony's E3 Confrence last summer???  They clearly stated that PSN will forever be free to the public. Please stop your bullshit lies and get off Micro$oft's Dick. And yes PSN was in the red last year and sony has stated they have a lineup of games and content exclusively for PSN to turn that around this year. I highly suggest you do some research before you post and type bullshit in the threads. Microsoft ofcourse lied. They have been doing this for years. Its part of there business.

Moderated by Torillian....but didn't he miss something?  Like the last word in the first sentence, maybe?

He fixed it, it looks like it screwed up when he was editing.

LOL mybad i am new to Vgcharts and i just hate it when M$ talks crap about my fav Company/Console.    The one.... The Only.....   The Sony PS3.   :)

Nah they're full of shit.

I could see Sony charging for online when the PS4 comes out but they aren't gonna introduce it halfway through the PS3's life.

As someone else said, I doubt a customer service rep would really know whether something like that is true or not. But at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised of you/we had to pay to play online on PSN soon. Sony isn't really known for keeping its word (Other OS).

You're lucky that you aren't on NeoGAf...

That guy is just sad for the loss of business.

Not sad, commission. Because someone called him to cancel their account, that's a black mark against him, much as signing up new customers would be a positive mark.

I've run into the same thing at GameStop before, where they shooed me away from canceling a preorder early in the day until they knew their daily numbers were going to be good, but in this case the guy felt the need to lie, or creatively interpret the presence of PSN Plus.

That is what i said, he is sad. I mean i would be too.

I think the whole Other OS thing was a bit amplified...that affected what, maybe 0.5% of users?  Charging to play online would probably affect 50% or more of users.

Oh, I agree, but the point is that even a few months before they removed it, Sony said they would never remove it.

Yes, that would classify as a blatant lie to the consumer...didn't it supposedly have something to do with the security of the console though?  If it was for any reason but that, I could see being completely angry, but they want to keep the console from being hacked.

Nah Sony would need a lot to convince people to pay for online.
