Nearly impossible, but it could happen. Assuming they sell 8 mil by the end of the year, 250k a week week going to be tough for any console.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Haze is just another shooter, DMC4 will help but is only getting released in Japan this year (IIRC. Or is it delayed?) but it sure won't push 4 mil+ consoles.


Before nagging on Haze, lets see how it turns out. DMC4 is coming in January 2008 in Japan, February in the West as far as I know.

Between the releases of those games the PS3 will still be selling, I was not refering to the games being the drive for thoe 11 million mark, but they will without a doubt create a boost.

Also, I was not being positive in the 11 million dude. Which why I said 10 mill is probably what they should hope for.

 Right now its sales are par with the 360, so unless they have a massive boost its not going to happen, at its current rate of sales it'll be summer before they sell 11 million

Sales have been high enough that if they can hit 9million by years end, they might make it. It's doubtful though. Sales may drop of once the holiday season is over.
