Forums - Nintendo - Best sleeper DS game of the year, 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors

I saw it in EBGames yesterday. I'll go in and pick it up tomorrow. My wife loves this stuff and she needs a good game to play.

my DS sleeper hit of the year is Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, unless it was released in Japan or the US in 2009 (Europe got it in January), then it probably doesn't count

That's another great game, although it was released late last year in the U.S.  But considering that 999 isn't available in Europe yet, the two aren't mutually exclusive!

Thanks for the reminder and the description. I almost forgot the game's already released in NA. I just ordered the import version of 999 (along with two of my all-time favourite p&c games: Grim Fandango, which I haven't played in at least 5 years, and the DS version of Broken Sword - The Shadow of the Templars).

The DS is by far the best platform for Japanese adventure games and overall the 2nd best platform this gen for new adventure games imo.

Well just ordered of Amazon, so I'll just have to wait till the end of the month. Hopefully I'll have beaten EO3 by then...

Former something....

Major spoilers are in this link, so don't click until you've beaten the game and gotten all the endings (Yes, ALL the endings).  But if you have, and you still have some questions...

I'll make a point to remind you.

Well I have money, I also have games to trade in, and I've been interested... sooo I'll likely get this, no reason not to and if it requires a lot of use of the L button I can just keep it till I get my 3DS lol
