Forums - Sales - Ubisoft: Best selling franchises

So yeah FarCry, HAWX, Anna, Shaun White and Red Steel didn't work quite well

Splinter Cell? 22 million units in sales. Assassin’s Creed? 20 million. Prince of Persia? 17 million. Sure, those are some very profitable series…but not as much as the Rabbids, Petz and Imagine games.

The Rabbids games come in at a whopping 29 million units in sales. Petz? 22 million. And Imagine itself is no joke at 19 million. While we can’t speak for overall budget (taking into account marketing and advertising), the development budgets for each of these is likely far less than what Ubisoft spend on their big-budget, high-definition games.

wow thats crazy. Although its incredible how fast assasins creed has moved up the rankings and will probably be number 1 in a few years.

What is this?

VGC can't possibly have undertracked the Rabbids games so much.

I say this picture is fake.

Are you sure that the Rabbids aren't part of the broader Rayman franchise?

I bet there won't be a Red Steel 3.

Just Dance would be majorly overtracked.

Petz would be majorly undertracked.

The article does not link to an official source so I'd rather call it fake as it seems like the numbers are all over the place and really random.

Perhaps it's not taking this holidays games into consideration?

I imagin AC1 and 2 have done 20 mill combined .. they probably shipped at leasy 6 mill brotherhood ..

Petz 22 millions? Don't believe it.

Does that mean the Red Steel franchise is OVER 2 million or did they round it up?

That info is old btw. They showed it when they released their fiscal year report. I think.

Unless they updated it.
