17.5 million shipped. Their fiscal year is from April 2010-March 2011. We're at 4.97 million as of September. And I'd say it depends on performance during the January-March quarter and how much is in the channel at the end of the fiscal year. I'd say somewhere in the 18-19 range.

you expect Wii to outsell it's projection by 20M? I reckon it will be rouhgly dead on 17.5M, 85M end of December 2010 and 87.5M end of march.  Somehoe it can do a tad better, maybe 88M end of march.

I think he meant to say it would reach the 20m by end of fiscal year :P

Not sure that it will? We're going to have nearly 20m sellthrough for calendar 2010, but Jan-March 2010 was very strong compared to Apr - Sept 2010.

We'll have to see what happens. I think beating for SW is more likely but we may be overtracking some games too. Hard to say just yet. I don't think Nintendo planned for JD and JD2 to be as big as have been this FY though (8-10m units) - those two alone can wipe out alot of underperformance in the overall sw market (where Nintendo gets its royalties).
