People who buy this game is because they want to have fun, not being taught on how to dance perfectly. Even Dance Central can't do that (I have it and I enjoy it, but as a solo experience). The fact that you only use your Wiimote is very attractive. Menus are easy to understand and you can start dancing in less than 10 seconds (Dance Central is painfuly slow when it comes to menus and loading times between one dance and another). You can be a terrible dancer and still have fun, even little children can play. The game formula is perfect, and I think they will continue with this formula for Just Dance 3. What I would add is some minor fixes like being able to preview DLC songs (you can't listen to previews of DLC on JD2). Apart from that: online leaderboards, some kind of "send challenge" to your friends, where they have to beat your score, Facebook/Twitter integration to publish socres and achievements (I.E. get 10000 points in every song, burn X calories, etc), and if they really want to compete against Dance Central, QUARTETS :) Also, as new Game modes, I'd really enjoy a mode where music speeds up and slows down in certain parts, could be fun! I really don't mind if the game has online multiplayer since the funny part is watching your friends / family playing, that's when you get the best of it. After all, that's one of the mains goals of the game, join people and have fun. My point of view :) Cheers |
In only one post you said every single reason why Just Dance appears to a wide audience than Dance Central. But unfortunately a lot of people in this site can't understand why JD (a very simple game) have been outselling DC (a "perfect" game).
