I have been seeing a lot of hype for this game. My friend only knew that it was being made by Sakaguchi and jumped ship. But why the hype from you guys? I have seen the gameplay, and it looks pretty good. But truly i just cannot tell what is going on *could be the Japanese*. So i just want to know why you are hyped for this game to come out of Japan?

Longer answer: Why not?  It's the first game directed by Sakaguchi since FFV.  Also it's a new 'hardcore' IP from Nintendo, loads of people have been whining about wanting one for ages, it's only fair that they get excited and hyped for one when it is announced.

i haven't played a good RPG in ages

Becuase its the next game after the great Lost Odyssey by Mistwalker. Everything looks indeed good with TLS, even if i dont own the console i need to play TLS.

I honestly don't know why i want this game so much, i can't stand Final Fantasy

I just need a good jrpg to play since Lost Odyssey came out.
