#1 Last time I checked being a American company didn't help Ford, GM and Chrysler.

#2 Looking at the Holiday numbers I believe the Wii and DS is what cool in America and last time I checked Nintendo is a Japanese company.

People who have enough brains to know how to use the internet buy PS3's, LMFAO jks, but honestly you cant say the 360 is beating ps3 in sales, b/c its been almost the same year to year

Rest of the world are more PC gamers. So is that because the PS3 is poor quality or because the PC is just that much better?

 

 

Yeah. Metro 2033 teared up the Japanese charts Monster Hunter barely managed to beat it first week, but it has no chance LT.

If somone posts an opinion as uninformed as that, why dont you just ignore him? We all know you know better then that. Why take it further a notch?

Don't know about why they win polls, but you do know IGN has had several articles regarding hardware and PS3 does win, fair and straight when facing the 360.  Hardware isn't all that matters though, its the exclusives, the online (which xbox clearly wins at), and even the fact that xbox was out a year earlier, meaning kids friends already had the product so they'd get that instead.

Personally, I've finally come to realize recently both consoles have amazing things to them, and one just has to realize this and get over arguing whether one is better than the other.



Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Actually this thread is a FAIL!

Look at the YTD Numbers

360 - 12.1m

PS3 - 12.9m

So PS3 sell better, unless we get so adjustments.

Why 360 is ahead 4 million in totals?

360 launched in 2005 and PS3 in 2006 .We can compare first 4 years to be fair.

360 first 4 years - 34m.

PS3 first 4 years - 42m.

PS3 sold 8m more then 360 in first 4years.

You're mixing a lot of points in that post - sales, profit, support, etc.  But your common points seems to be why doesn't PS3 sell better given the apparent visible support online

I think the easy point to consider is that, no matter how much support you think you see for PS3 online, it's a tiny minority.  The bulk of PS3 (and 360 and for sure Wii owners) never once hit a forum like this or post a point of view.

There are millions of 360/PS3 owners.  Millions.  Yet how many names do you regularly see on forums?  A few hundred tops?  Less?

On the interent, you're almost always dealing with a vocal minority.  It's worth bearing in mind.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
