Jesus christ its just a simple game where you move your guys around or whatever. Not like some epic, compelling story with huge worlds and giant bosses or whatever. It looks like a really good game (LittleBigPlanet) but I just have the feeling that nobody will ever get to play it. What is wrong with these devs? They have shown complete-looking game demos since 8 months ago, and they're now telling us it will require another 12 months? I mean, LBP should be on store shelves right NOW, and they should have been working on ANOTHER game for release by next fall. I just feel like these devs want to polish games too much, which is not really a bad thing, but the PS3 needs games right now, today, not in a year, geez. |
hehe, LBP is a 2d game.. and its taking 2-3 years to complete... |
Its a 3D game you dumbass. Maybe if you watch the gameplay videos you would know. The people talking about the PS3 not having games, do you own a PS3? I do, and there are games for it, multiplatform or exclusive. Some of you don't know what your talking about. |
I'm sorry, I apologize... It's a limited 3d side scrolling game.. why the hell is it taking 2-3 years to make? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed watching the video's, this would be one of the games I would purchase. But, I don't understand what so complicated about the game, and why its being delayed. |
Collision detection, bugs, glitches, etc. In a game like LBP, there's lots of bugs.
It's not just a limited 3D side scrolling game. You spawn objects, like a block of a wood...then you could put circular objects anywhere on the block of wood, and make a car out of it. It could go up and down ramps, etc...while you stand on it. It's hard to get that kind of user interactivity to work without glitches. Trust me...I play Garry's Mod for PC, and simply welding a couch to a washing machine can even create glitches sometimes.
