And the PS2 is just another PS...and the X360 is just another Xbox.   Since when has a new console for the sake of being a new console been a bad thing?

You also forget the 3D of the 3DS has more of an 'in the wwindow' 3D effect.  Things aren't ctualy coming out of the screen.  And the 3D depth slider allows gamers to select the level of 3D they feel most comfotable with.  Don't knock the 3DS's 3D unless you've tried it and definitely don't underestimate it's validty as a console simply because gamers have a choice how much 3D they wish to perceive.

The only downside though, is that unlike the photocopier, I won't be wasting any school's recources to make funny paper sheets. And if someone browses through my 3DS, it would make for potentially awkward situations.
