Forums - Sales - uDraw - increasing sales every week

Both games (Dood's Big Adventure and Pictionary) were up this week as well.

This thing hasn't even launched in EMEEA or Japan yet (I don't even know if they're planning on a Japanese release).

The sales will definitely slow a bit post-holiday, but it's getting great word of mouth and some effective advertising. I think 3 million worldwide LTD is very possible, and if THQ delivers on its promise of 5 more games through 2012 it could be even bigger.

I think bundling it with two games next Christmas could do wonders. Now they just need to get something like Drawn to Life on it. They're already planning a Spongebob game, and if it's done correctly it should be a seller.

THQ has to try and get additional support for the tablet outside of their own games. Nintendo could set the world on fire if they decided to greenlight "Mario Paint 2".

It's the Holidays...

Most games have a boost.

Don't downplay the obvious success of the Udraw.

It's doing great for a new peripherical with low hype surrounding it.

No it's the Holdiay boost. Why do you always pretend I'm trolling?

Perhaps he suspects trolling because you should explain why it is from the holiday boost instead of just blabbing out single-sentence statements based on your opinion and not actual facts.

What? Are you new around here?

I don't need to explain anything. Everybody who's been here for at least 1-2 years perfectly knows about the Holiday boost. You know the time of the year where people buy gifts...?

And it applies to everything not just video games. TVs, movies, CDs, cooking tools, whatever.

Jeez people use your head.

I agree
but I am impressed at  udraw sales when I believe it is more expensive than other games  also there are alot of other great games released for the wii this holiday

I've been here a while plus I work in the game industry. I know my facts, but I also take the time to explain them rather than just mouthing-off short meaningless opinions.

Wow. You are joking right?  You do not have to be Sherlock Holmes to realize that games seem to sell more in the holidays, because that is when a lot of people buy games for gifts. That is not opinion, that is fact. Also, I am calling BS on you working in the industry until you prove otherwise.

I work in the industry, but I'm not crazy enough to try and prove it by giving away my personal information. I just find it interesting how some forum dwellers reply with the assumption that I'm "new" or "dumb" when they can't even come up with more than one sentence to explain their opinions.

The topic of this thread is that uDraw's sales are increasing at a faster rate than normal (holiday boost included). If you compare uDraw to other games, this is true.

No that's what YOU made of this thread. The topic is about uDraw's sales increasing every week. And that's the Holiday boost. Fact.

Some games have a bigger Holiday boost. Fact.

And besides, the critics haven't been very positive of the product (the tablet) unlike what you said. I don't know about the games.

It's simply a game that appeals to kids and kids are the main targets during the Holidays.

Pictionary appeals to all people not just kids. It is a game for all ages

uDraw is d0med.

It had a good drop. When will it release in EMEAA?

Above: still the best game of the year.
