Not really a JRPG, more of an adventure title in the likes of NES/SNES Zelda. Both of which I also would not consider JRPGs, even though I love them to death.

I am still surprised as all hell that the game is on the brink of hitting 300k sales. That should almost guarantee another title by Silicon Studios. Atlus expected 25k sales in Americas and according to VGC it is around 200k.

I think it did well for 2 reasons.

#1. Launched at a budget price of $40.

#2. It was very easy to get into and retro is in these days.
