They buy during the first week, I think Japan is very well informed in terms of release dates? So what you see 1st week is pretty much everyone.
What I want from a game.
Gameplay > Story > Content > Graphics
Visual Style > Graphics
Smooth Camera, Intuitive Controls

I've heard the used game market is massive in Japan. Basically after the first week a lot of people just buy a used copy.

Their gaming culture is very xenophobic, foreign games fail because they're shiat no matter how well they do abroad. -_-
