Okay, I'm not going to make any friends here, but I have for one have a huge problem with people entering the league and taking large portions of points and NOT CONTRIBUTING TO THE LEAGUE IN THE LEAST BIT. Maybe it's too much to ask but I think for people to be considered in league standings they need to, if nothing else, at least post and communicate ON THIS POST. It's a bit silly to me that people can just A. join the league. And proceed to take lots of points, never even bothering to communicate with anyone. I always try to post on here occasionally and be friends with people in the league and send them messages occasionally. It's just a bit silly to me that people can join the league, rack up points, and never communicate with anyone...

I'll admit i kind of agree with you JPL. Though i may not post here that much any more i still do occasionaly and i do try to stay in touch with a few people over live or on TA.

On a side note trying to get the last few achievements in rugby world cup 2011 is doing my fucking head in. Any one thinking of picking it up now its really cheap should avoid it as a few of the time consuming achievements are glitched.

Point taken on Rugby. The one that was released for GFWL is terrible as well.

I know I'm one of the new people so I hope that isn't directed at me as I'm trying to be active in this thread.

NCIS is an under 5 hour game for anyone looking for quick points

The problem with the rugby is the down south and up north achievements just won't seem to unlock for me. If i can get them unlocked i could grind out the other achievements fairly quickly but its just annoying at the moment playing the same teams over and over agian in the hope the chevo's pop.

In regards NCIS i'm a fan of the show so i'll pick it up when it inevitably hits the bargin bin and is under 10 bucks. Though in saying that i have done the same with all the CSI games and i'm yet to start even one of them.

Mightymango, no, I'm talking about people who sign up and then disappear. It just leaves me wondering if they even check the league updates or in general even care about being part of the competition.

And really I'm not even thinking of anyone specific. But I know we have several who have done this.

Neo, I don't know about giving points to active people, at least not on a weekly basis or anything. But maybe there could be an end of year bonus given to people who have been somewhat active at least. I thought I remembered you saying way back something about in order to even be a part of the league you needed to interact in some form, occasionally at least. I know gamers aren't always social but I'm not saying everyone should talk and be friends and play together, just maybe occasionally say something so we know they are active.

Also, Nights on XBLA would be epic. That game needs a serious rebirth. And i'm not talking Wii sequel that no one played, I'm talking full on rebirth, starting with HD remake for 800 points. Yes, thank you. They can make all the Sonic games they want, but we NEED more Nights.

Yes someone agrees with me! Given the timeframe in which the original released not many people got a chance to enjoy the game. It was released at the tail end of the Saturn's life cycle and not that many people had a Saturn to begin with. On a lesser note it would be nice to see Clockwork Knight but I'm not sure how high demand would be for that one. That brings back memories of listening to CDs at night and watching that plane fly through space. I miss my Saturn...

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

It's defo safe to say that it's the usual suspects who always post in here, however, we are all constantly leaving each other messages on TA (congratulating one another on milestones, asking what each other think about "x" release and so on).

It would be nice if more posted, but all in all those who do post regularly are a fantastic bunch, so in a nutshell i'm content with everything.

Sorry, all, but I got home late again tonight. I will get the update together as quickly as possible tomorrow.

@JPL78. I think there are a few gamers who are inactive, but most of them will be weeded out in the purge I do at the end of the year. I did a quick check of last logins for many of the gamers I suspected of being inactive and many of them were logged in today and last night indicating that they are at least probably watching the league. And as RONSTER316 said there is also a lot of activity on the TA side as well. I am not concerned that there are many people getting points that are inactive in this forum. Just like any league you have the obsessives, the average, and the detattched. I try and keep the detactched to a minimum. But, I doubt I can ever fully get rid of it.

I'm all for weeding out the people who don't participate but after our last league update, we lost a lot of people. It's more fun to compete with a lot of people AND without those guys, it becomes harder for a game to reach tournament status. Just putting that out there.

The league is up-to-date for this week...

The binary code our friend Berstuck posted as his status on TA translates to 666. Sort of a computer age nom de plume for Mr. B. L. Zeebub. Well, it struck me as funny. I'm sure you compusavvy kids knew that already.

FYI my second attempt at Dark Souls ended abruptly at 91 hours. Corrupted save from shutting down my box in disgust after losing the Four Kings fight again. Quite late in the game too. After various attempts to get it to reload I tried deleting the game from HD and just left the save. The game then rather arbitrarily overwrote it and put me back at square 1. Surprise! Cursed in game and out.

I think Remembrance Day up here will mean no Skyrim till the 12th. I mean come on! There aren't even any WWI vets left anymore. Who's gonna know? Yeah, sorry...
