Welcome to MightyMango. Those stats will make for a nice read. Safe to say most of the games we're tracking just got a boost. Maybe a few new plats. Speaking of which is he our new leader there as well? No rush Neo, sounds pretty tense so whenever you can.

I got through an Insane playthrough on G3. Shortly after Berstuck. Congrats. It didn't pop after the final boss so I stayed up redoing Ch 1-2. The problem may be that I started on one save and did Acts 3-5 later on a different one. No worries just a cautionary tale.

Now why aren't our TA cards showing?  Updates over there probably.

I'm still trying to figure everything out as to what everything means in terms of scoring. I'm assuming the leaderboards for the Plat/GS/ etc are all updated manually minus the TA stuff.

Also the TA stuff isn't working as they had a boo boo yesterday which they are still trying to fix.

The league is up-to-date for this week.

You are only baselined this week.  Essentially your scores show as zero in your first week in the league.

Starting next week, I now have a baseline to work from for your TA, GS, and platinums.  Every week each gamer does what they can in each of the three metrics, then next Thursday I update everyone's scores.  Whoever does best in each category gets league points depending on thier positions in the weekly totals.

Platinums are easy.  BEcome the highest scoring gamer or equal the highest scoring gamer in the league in a given game and you get 7 league points.

Tournies are a based on GS at a given end date.  League points are awarded on the end date of tournies.

Just a 3/4 season post...

First, the leagues last day this year will be December 22nd. All tournies and league stats for 2011 will end then. I will baseline the league for 2012 on December 31st and then January 5th will be the first league points for the new season!

Second, I do intend on running the league again next year. I have really enjoyed the way things have gone and how close the race at the top has become this year. Gamers with less than 500 GS for this season will be removed from the league. There will also be a few rule changes next year. They are:

1) Rather than giving 6,5,4,3,2,1 league points for position, there will be 1 league point per 100 gamerscore awarded (based on yearly total, not week to week with rounding). This will give more people league points rather than having them to compete every week with the likes of eNamrah, RONSTER316, Berstuck, JPL78, etc. It will also help people like PoundHound, DarthVolod, aka CRIM3, etc. become more competitive.

2) Platinums will continue be 10 points for retail games, but 7 points for XBLA, and 5 for WP7 games.

3) We will add to tournies a level for 15, 25, and 30 gamer tournies (Scoring has not been finalized).

4) Games qualifying for platinum will further be refined. But I haven't finalized that yet. And if you have some ideas please let me know.

A rule change made with me in mind? I love it! That made me smile and it not only helps the people you mentioned but anyone not in the top 5 really. As for the platinum games, are you looking for ways to add more games to the list or have less?

I am looking for ways to improve upon platinums. They are a big part of the league. And I think we improved them this year, but I think they still need more work. I am struggling with how to handle sports games.

I played Tiger Woods this year and realized how many hours it took to get some of the achievements. It is a shame the game can't be a platinum because it is licensed. And I understand people's concerns about EA and how they shutdown servers making some platinums unobtainable. Just looking for ideas!
