Yes, I forgot to congratulate RONSTER316 again this year. What a run! And to win this year truely took a balanced gaming strategy, gameplay of new games, getting platinums, keeping TA decent, and gamerscore.

Lets not forget eNamrah and Berstuck to though. They kept the season close, and had RONSTER316 on the ropes many times.

Thanks Berstuck, CRIM3, 101 & Neo.

I'm still shocked that i managed to pull off the hat-trick and win it 3 times on the spin (i'm obviously very chuffed aswell )

Around mid/late july, i was 52 points behind eNamrah and Berstuck, and with work calling me in at completely random times i honestly thought that the title had slipped away...................

This was by far the hardest one to win, due to the fact that nobody at the top was giving an inch for the most part, and obviously eNamrah was both relentless and outstanding throughout the year.

So HUGE props to eNamrah for how he performed this year (especially taking in to account that he played far less games than i did) his performances in tournaments were nothing short of amazing.

Berstuck for over two thirds of the year was excellent too........... most tournaments he entered he did really well in, and the way he racked up gamerscore each week was frightening.

JPL of course pushed me really hard in the 2010 season and did brillaintly during the first half of 2011, his tournament record speaks for itself (most points earned in tournaments over the years).

Also.......... aka CRIM3's second half of the season was outstanding, he was racking up TA points, gamerscore, Platinums and god knows what else like it was all going out of fashion, i'm sure CRIM3 will be a great competitor and a massive threat to all those who fancy their chances of winning 2012.

Thruthfully speaking, with this been an immensly close year in the title race (and the fact that i didn't work when i wanted to, and worked when it would have helped to have been off, say for example during the summer drought) i'm still thinking long and hard about wether to compete in 2012, i don't know......... i really need to get back on a wok site full time, just so that i at least know when im working & when i'm off, i have had 3 years of instability due to flaoting, and my flat won't pay for itself at the end of the day.

If i do take a year off and manage to get myself full time again......... rest assured i'll be back in 2012 with more fire in my belly than ever.

And even if i'm not competing, i will always be checking the league positions, posting both here on VGC and over on TA............... and checking the wealth of stats ect that Neo provides.

All i can do is hope my company find me a permanent site sooner rather than later, because that will play a part in my decision too.

I would of course like to thank Neo, who each and every week does a superb job with the league, and not only that, he is constantly thinking of new ways to improve this already great league, and he's always adding new and interesting features, stats and so on......... so thanks Neo, you genuinely do amazing work in the league.

Right........... i have bored you all for long enough now.......... so here's to the 2012 league, with the great competitors we have in this league, i honestly think this could be the best year yet

Thanks Neo for giving us another year in the league! Congrats Ronster, you, eNamrah and Berstuck all had a hell of a year.

Congratulations on the win, Ron. I would've liked to make it closer and put the pressure on you a bit more but I suppose I just ran out of gas. I'll be in the league next year but don't expect to be competitive. Perhaps a tourny win here or there. Thanks to Neo for everything he's done with the league.

You guys are making me sad. So far Ron, Namrah and JPL are saying it's doubtful they will compete next year. My new goal for next season was to see if I could compete with the top guys in the league from the beginning. Now that school is out of the way I can really focus on gaming. I plan to give it my all next season but it won't be the same if the top guys are leaving.

I am looking forward to next year.  I see eNamrah and JPL's comments as more a focus on gaming to enjoy gaming and not focused around the league only. - That is assuming that JPL stays...  It would be a dissappointment for him to leave, but it's his choice...

RONSTER still won the year even though he was held back by work.  I expect this year that MightyMango, yourself, and Berstuck will be competing a lot.

And definately don't count RONSTER out.  He put in a hell of an effort since July to save his title.  He won't just lay over and play dead as the reigning league champion.  One of biggest challenges for RONSTER this year will be platinums.  He has a lot, and is running out of new games that he would want to platinum.  This may also affect his weekly gamerscore average.  But, this will force him back to older games and probably improve his TA ratio which is decent points every week.  He is also always strong in tournies.

Also recon1o1, lordmatrix, and poundhound will be there in many tournies making sure people are completing games to win the tournies.

It might not take as many points to win this coming season, but it will be competitive still.

The last 3 guys you mentioned were the people I watched the most this season because they always were creeping up and passing me in tourneys or taking plats that I had my eye on. The fact of the matter is Ronster, eNamrah, JPL and Berstuck are a bit scary in all aspects of the league. I went with little to no sleep sometimes just to try to come in first on a weekly basis and most times it wasn't enough. At most I think I got their attention but by that point in the season I wasn't a threat. So I do hope they come back this season because I want to prove to myself I can compete with the gaming gods of VGC.

I have added "platform" leaderboards to my other site for the league.

Nice, this site is coming along! Do you have plans to flesh it out?

OT: Gratz Ronster! I hope everyone does come back to compete, this year not only in terms of gaming, but posting, seems to have been much better than last, things looked bleak then.

My 2012 aim is to stay ahead of Machina in Plats, and regain #1 in ratio and retain #2 in completion %
