My very own personal GOTY is among Mass Effect 2, RDR, Galaxy 2 and DKCR. Therefore I agree with any media that proclaims any of those four games as their personal GOTY.

If I had to choose, I might sit on your side of the fence, as if I understand correctly, Galaxy 2 in your opinion is not really an innovative game but one that polishes previous ideas.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't dare to say Galaxy 2 didn't bring anything new to the 3D platformers, cause it did in its own right, even when that was not their goal.

And I wouldn't consider Edge to be hipocrites at all.

I think Edge may have made a mistake, I thought they only gave perfect scores to games that innovate, not games that simply refine. Oh Edge, how you confuse me.

Congrats to SMG2 anyway, I'm sure it'll pull in a few more before the year ends.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
