The note is in Japanese, but the company behind the cards for the 3DS software has revealed that the size of those cards can go from 1GB to 8GB (basically a Wii disc size)

Amazing. Can't wait for my FF6 remake. It'll have enough space to make it look amazing. Hopefully it'll be enough to make it look realistically like The Last Story.

the high capacity cards mean that Matrix (or whoever) can fit orchestrated music and/or extensive voice acting into the game as well.

And manditory installs?
Actually, 8 GB's is not the overall limitation of the medium. That's likely the current production capacity but if larger capacities are waranted, they can be easily manufactured.
The rEVOLution is not being televised
Who the Hell could possibly use up 8GB of space in a handheld game?
You would have to be loco.
Or Kojima, I guess.

PSP2, it only does everything :)
I predict a later literation of psp2 to feature 3D
Wow, it is the same amount as a double-layered Wii disc! Super Smash Bros 3DS and Final Fantasy VII remake confirmedz.

Above: still the best game of the year.
