Europe's certainly not taking to it though.  I wonder why?

Have you been to Euro Disney?

It had much advertising (at least here in europe), has mickey mouse in it and was critically well received.

I mean, come on, 2-3 million lifetime on a console with such a great userbase isnt really surprising.

IMO it would be a shame if it wont hit 2 million considering the things i posted above.

People here doubted it would even reach a million. <_<
When it failed to enter the UK charts in its first week, a doom thread was created immediately.

Epic Mickey's ever constant NA sales (3 weeks over 200k) make me smile, and seeing how EU sales are increasing week after week... well that makes me smile too.

Everything about this game makes me smile, including the sales.

I'm still wondering when we'll hear the particulars for Japan launch.  Personally, I think Nintendo should consider publishing it themselves there.

I think the news about the PS3 port might kill some of the sales after Christmas.  This game may struggle to get much over 2M.

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Depends on how it pans out; if it's Move only, if it's actually happening at all.  Generally though, I'd think the sort of gamer who'd hold off for a Move port is a pretty specific target (ie: hardcore / niche) and generally probably someone who wouldn't be buying the Wii version anyway.  The Mickey brand and Wii as a platform is so strong with the mainstream, I'm really not sure how much impact a port would have... it'd be like Sonic Colors getting ported to 360/PS3 (also recently rumored), in the end it probably doesn't matter much becuase Wii has such a substantially bigger audience for that sort of thing.

While I wouldn't be surprised if a port happens, the specific rumor from today was a hoax (today is some sort of Spanish Aprils Fool)

You don't get it. This game may get a ps3 port because it sold well on the wii - which it's doing > 826k and growing.

If Epic mickey can't sell on the wii - disney best audience console - then it won't be a succes on any other console.
