The 360 is definetely going to sell a million across the world with next week's data. Here's my evidence:

-2008 this week it sold 900k, in 2010 the 360 has been outselling 2008 almost the whole holiday

-There are shortages this week - More will shipped this week (Next weeks data is this week)

-People were waiting for walmarts 75 dollar gift card deal and now they can buy it

-Kinect is a monster

I believe the 360 will be able to sell:

350k in EMEAA

800k in Americas

8k in Japan

For a grand total of about 1,158,000 next week...what do you think? Also since Kinect sales are about 1:1 with 360 sales I expect Kinect sales to go to about 900k next week!

I think it can. But my regional breakdown would be different :

NA - 700,000
EMEAA - 350,000

Americas might be a tad generous, but not entirely impossible as you show with the 2008 numbers.  It WILL boost and that boost could be significant.  But nearly double?  Dunno ...

EMEAA has been trending upwards, so that could spike too based on promotions there or just the typical holiday boost.  That's the x-factor for sure.

Japan will be so insignificant that even if you are way off it really won't matter.

According to the latest sales figures by Microsoft the Kinect has now become the fastest adopted consumer electronics device ever, ousting the recent heir to the throne, the iPad.

The iPad took 2 months to sell 2 million iPads, at a minimum price of $500, and has now settled down to selling around 4.5 million every quarter.

In comparison the Kinect has sold 2.5 million units in 25 days and is expected to sell 5 million before the end of the year in less than 2 months on sale.

Whether the device will keep up it’s sales rate after Christmas is up for much debate but generally the feedback has been good and if the casual market becomes attached it very well could.

I think that it's not ever going to happen. It needs Japan and EMEAA to hit the 1 million in one week sales.

It can do if not next week then the week after given that accounts for 6 days before Christmas.

It just might, that will be the week before Xmas right? thats when America will get most of their holiday shopping done, Kinect has been a nice push, It might reach the 1 Million mark but it's still going to be topped by the DS and Wii. IMO

While its certainly possible I don't think it will simply because its pretty hard to find in America right now...and that will only get worse.
