Forums - Sony - PSJailbreak wins against SONY

Uhh isn't there already several security patches that Sony released to fix Jailbreak? How are they even going to use it?

There are workarounds to let new games play. I know you can play Black Ops online without problems. The hackers are at most a few months away from custom firmware, but theres a few roadbumps atm.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Too bad they don't know how to decrypt 3.50 games. Have fun playing older titles offline!

I believe people doing the jailbreak will have no problems with that....

Good...power to the people.

Well, good luck with that. I'm sure Sony will do another thing to stop this.

Btw I can see a new Spanish sterotype. You're all pirates. This actually really makes me hate spain.

While I don't believe in pirating games on any platform, 4 to 50 gb's isn't really much nowadays.  It would take me under a day to get 50gb files.  And if I were a broke school kid or poorboy I would see why a lot of people would choose a day or less (most cases a few hours) download a much cheaper/better alternative.

Thats why you can go onto any torrent site and see tons of 360/PS3 titles right now.   How much does it cost to burn blu-ray discs anyways?  I haven't kept up with that much.

You don't burn PS3 rips, they play right off a external hard drive (or in the case of a few titles with files larger than 4gb) from the internal PS3 drive. And honestly, the arguement that PS3 games are extremely huge isn't valid, there are literally only a handful of titles over 30gb, none over 40gb. most of them are about 15-20gb uncompressed and with compression usually around 10gb which is nothing to DL.

Ive got a 20gb download cap so I couldnt download alot games even if I wantaed to...
