Forums - Nintendo - Miyamoto response to Insominiac Spherical World Claim -> Is that a PC Game?

i wonder if people working around Miyamoto find him to be arrogant and egotistic or if he's actually quite approachable? i'm really curious, because his statements seem to suggest he thinks very highly about himself... he's got every right to, of course, but i'm curious.

the Wii is an epidemic.

@Lingyis: I don't think Miyamoto really knows what Ratchet & Clank is.

Edit: Also, according to an interview posted here... I think... a while back, Miyamoto can be diffcult because the answer he gave are kinda cryptic or vague or something...

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

Hes being honest, they had the idea VERY far back, even before Sonic Adventure 2

Does anyone really want to argue this? I mean.....seriously now....

^I had completly forgotten about that stage...

psn- tokila

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

Technically, we could say he ripped off Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "The Little Prince", which had the same idea but was published back in 1943.

Also, the storybook in Mario Galaxy reminded me very much of St. Exupéry's illustrations, so much so that I see it as a homage to the book (and it's worth paying homage to).

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

Thanks for the Threadkill Xyrax!

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

I think that's the new default comeback for any situation

FRIEND: Dude!! I just got an expensive Rolex, you should check it out
YOU:What? I've never heard of that. Is it a PC game?

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

Did anyone notice that the Galaxy screen features a Mario 64-style life bar? That's mildly interesting... I wonder how late in development that was changed.

Hates Nomura.
