Yes which seems a bit off, these games don't fit being too serious, only "Anime" serious.

really not serious? symphonia and abyss were pretty serious to me at times.

I agree with you Mad55, specially considering that Symphonia is one of my favourite games of all time, but I think Pullus Pardus was just referring to the aesthetics. Even in that case, anyhow, I don't completely agree with him.

I think we all agree that anime can always be pretty seriuos about really heavy topics.

I don't know, I think it looks way better than this:

Plus, the game is probably a year away so there's a lot of time for polish. The backgrounds look really good already.

Don't know, but somehow it looks a lot like Wii games gfx. Maybe they were developing it for Wii too and halted because of poor performance of the previous game: Tales of Graces (Wii version).

I hate this situation.....Namco puts Tales games on the system where they won't get support then when they finally decide to put it out on the system (Handhelds not included of course) where JRPGs are doing best on and we in the west wont see it? Man **** you Microsoft
