Everyone, forget about steam deals and get this pack instead. It is DRM-free!

Actually, if you buy this pack, you can get a key and add those games on Steam for free.

Why on earth would someone do that? Those games are DRM free so I don't see any reason to spoil them with crappy DRM like steam. For free... haha.

It's just convenient to have all your games in the same place.  But... your DRM-free download links for all the games will stay active, so if you change your mind you can download them again, and again, and again, for free.

So... it is convenient to have the games installed on same folder or is it convenient to have the shortcuts on steam instead of for example your desktop?

If I install these games through steam, can I remove them from my games? If not, I think I can't sell the games I own. :O

it is illegal to sell the games from the inde bundle anyway... Or at least it's against the terms and conditions. One good reason to add the games to steam is so you can download them from the steam servers saving the inde bundle providers on bandwidth.

Also looks like the On Live people have done something I can get behind "1 Play.onlive.com Just Play $5,000.00" good on them

Where did you find the terms and conditions which say that? All I can find on the site is that "We don't use DRM. When you buy these games, they are yours.".

gave 5$ plus 25ç for the organizers.

0 to charity (i just don't give to charity.. I stopped when, at 15, I realized that by snack money always went to the same beggars in the metro and that they had nicer shoes than I did...) If i want to do charity i'll adopt a kid in 20 years.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

I already got all games I'm interested in from both bundles (Braid, World of Goo, Machinarium, Samorost 2) and to be honest I find the choice of these two charity organizations questionable.

http://kotaku.com/5719017/charity-computer-game-pack-rakes-in-18-million

"Despite tough times and a nasty U.S. recession gamers continue to come through, this time for a collection of games discounted in the name of charity.

The second Humble Indie Bundle managed to pull in $1,823,301.66, topping the first Humble Indie Bundle which brought in about $1.2 million.

That works out to 232,849 purchases of the pack that included 11 games for whatever price a person was willing to pay. The top contributor was Nexus Scorpion, who dropped $6,132.96 for the bundle. The average purchase price was $7.83, with Linux users paying the most on average, $13.76. Mac came in second at $9.26 and you tight-fisted Windows folks only paid $6.67 on average.

Each person decided who to split the money they donated, splitting it between the game developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Child's Play Charity.

Thanks to everyone for paying and donating."

Wow, that's a pretty cool result.

Dang, I'm such a horrible selfish person :(

Missed it, damn!

Although I own most of the games on steam anyway, so these developers have plenty of my moneys regardless.

Oh, I just wasted 3 minutes looking for a place to buy it. :/
