kudos for mentioning Shattered Nations in this thread... talk about nostalgia.. last time I saw that trailer was on the disc of warcraft 2. If i remeber correctly there was also a trailer for Diablo, and a third game which for the life of me I can't remember... probably cancelled as well.

I have to say Mother3 (N64). EarthBound 64 would have been the best console RPG ever made it looked amazing. Though I think in close second would be the origional Kirby Wii/GCN and in third Donkey Kong Racing it would have been awsome.

I saw on the list the StarWars:Battlefront 3 was listed as cancelled. Well the game was never formally announced and just because the studio went under doesn't mean the game was cancelled. I'm sure Lucas Arts has somebody working on it right now or its on the back burners but I doubt it was cancelled!

i want that xbox dinosaur game were you were a caveman or you were a bunch of cavemen and women that had to survive by hunting dinosaurs and stuff i was soo looking foreword to it :(

If its dead like some people are saying then Pikmin 3 easy!(I still have hope...) I don't know if it counts though as it was never really announced so...it never existed...kind of...

Anyway if Pikmin 3 doesn't count then it would have to be...

Fear Effect Inferno

Starcraft Ghost for the Gamecube.  That game looked pretty hot, and it had a female lead (always a plus).  So much work and then they cancel it?

Runner up:  Half Life for the Dreamcast.  The game was complete.  It even had a perfect score review in Gamepro magazine.  For some reason, the game didn't get released!!  I never did play a Half Life game until I got my hands on The Orange Box a couple of years ago.  This was a dis-service to console gamers.  By the time a PS2 port was released, it was buried among other huge PS2 games.

Starfox 2 gets an honorable mention since elements of it eventually became Starfox 64.  Kameo 2, too.  I loved the first one.

True Fantasy Online for XBox. That game was looking awesome. Damn Microsoft and their constant cancelling of MMOs that they publish.
