Well, living in Poland, i would want the Eu to be something like one giant country to tell the truth. Maybe it would help the "other half" of my nation stop seeing the west as a threat. It's just so sad to hear some imbeciles talk about how both Russia and Germany are out there to destroy Poland.

I think part of the problem in the UK is that they see the east as a threat. Everywhere I go I hear people complaing about the 'Poles taking all the jobs', when the real problem is that people are just too fucking lazy to get off their asses and find a job.

P.S. No offence meant. Not to the Polish anyway.

What? the poles are takin' my jaarbs?  time for another gay orgy. xD

Poles taking all the jobs

I think it is good for Poland and good for UK. I am sure that in UK companies are searching for employees that can work for them but can't find anyone. (Is the case over here). Companies are happy that they find someone who wants to work (Polish guy) and that P. Guy goes probably back later to Poland and invest then his money in stores in Poland etc.

good for Poland, probably...good for UK, i don't think so...or at least i don't think it's good for english-born workers to have thousands of immigrants that are ready to work for lower wages: companies surely won't suffer from this situation but for common people this is a true nightmare...and to me in the long run this won't make UK a richer country, probably just another nation where the middle class slowly disappear.

If you are a true Christian then you'll know this is bad. Its sad to know that the beginning of the end of world is being led by Europe with their move to one monetary unit and now the union of all these countries. :(

A "true Christian"? Wow. Shut up.

I do agree that this is bad, but not because I pretend to have deciphered Revelations. Just because I'm not a fan of big, centralized governments.

An article I read yesterday, which is applicable...
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/articles/161/what-does-freedom-really-mean/

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Actually, it does help your economy. You see, most Poles take on jobs that a) the british won't take up on because they see those jobs as inadequate, or b) jobs that require specializations+education that not many britons can boast. I.E. we fill in the gaps in your country. We help raise the yearly growth index, which in turn helps the economy as a whole. The reason why we get these jobs? We're most of the time better qualified, and that's it. At least that's how it looks from my place.

I don't know the situation in the UK but if I lose my job I know i will get hundred of mails/letters, phonecalls of companies who want me to work (that is the same for people who didn't studied). Companies are really begging for employees, they want to grow but they can't because of the lack of employees. So the Poles are welcome.

But I am sure if English Citizens have problems to find work the UK will say 'Sorry Poles but we can't let allow to let more Poles come in'  First our people then you. (Sounds a little bit racist but I don't mean it that way).

And there are minimum wages right?  I think governments don't let poles come to their country if their are not enough jobs for their own citizens.

I don't like this. We're moving closer and closer to world government, which means dictatorship for certain!!

Sorry, but a one world government does not mean dictatorship. I personally hope that I see the creation of a one world government before I die. Of course, as an American, I hope it starts off with our Bill of Rights.

So what does this treaty mean? So there will be a president on what will he be able to do?

This isnt the left behind series. Revelations could end up that way, but that is one of MILLIONS of possibilities Revelations can be interpreted.

I believe this to be bad. EU is fine as an economic unity, but once it starts to become political, there will be a lot of controversy. Who is to decide what makes up what? Will new boundaries be made, creating each nation as a state or will it be a confederacy of sorts? And how will a new President be elected and will resentment happen if a German is picked over a Frenchman, or an Italian, or whatever. I dont see this as plausible and could very well just lead to an internal conflict. Europe doesnt exactly have the best record of inter-European relations.
