good for Poland, probably...good for UK, i don't think so...or at least i don't think it's good for english-born workers to have thousands of immigrants that are ready to work for lower wages: companies surely won't suffer from this situation but for common people this is a true nightmare...and to me in the long run this won't make UK a richer country, probably just another nation where the middle class slowly disappear. |
I don't know the situation in the UK but if I lose my job I know i will get hundred of mails/letters, phonecalls of companies who want me to work (that is the same for people who didn't studied). Companies are really begging for employees, they want to grow but they can't because of the lack of employees. So the Poles are welcome.
But I am sure if English Citizens have problems to find work the UK will say 'Sorry Poles but we can't let allow to let more Poles come in' First our people then you. (Sounds a little bit racist but I don't mean it that way).
And there are minimum wages right? I think governments don't let poles come to their country if their are not enough jobs for their own citizens.
