There's still next months NDP! :P

Hey, man.  Don't sweat it.  The PS3 is still an awesome gaming console.  If this were last gen, third place might really matter.  But this gen the PS3 is getting a lot software support.  Great for gamers, great for PS3 owners.

So, the d0med console is up YoY. The hype lag $500M have made historic sales for 360 (imo deserved), and the always undertracked console is today overtracked.

I'll be honest, this is a complete flame post, but the PS3 zealots in this community fueled this flame.

Seriously, guys, I personally hate seeing so many here celebrating the PS3's performance in the US.  It feels cheap and petty.  Then I realize it has nothing to do with the PS3's performance but everything to do with the attitudes, threads, and posts of a vocal group here that many are happy to see get put in their place.  And that smug Kevin Butler guy too.

Hopefully this can be the start of more balanced discussion here about the performance and expectations of these three consoles this gen.  Yeah ...

What happend to the PS3 catching the 360 this year?  Oh well maybe next, lol..

Looks like the 360 is motoring along better than even I had expected.  Glad to see that massive marketing push is paying off for them.  Now if only I could find a stand alone Kinect without paying more on ebay.....

I would also be willing to bet that the 360 is undertracked in Europe as well.  Seems to me that a good thing is good no matter where its sold.  The good thing just happens to be the Kinect and 360!

It also looks like GT5 may be in a little more trouble than I had anticipated.  If you count bundles I would probably bet that F3 out sold it.  Oh the PAIN PD must be going through, lol...

I joined in 2008 but I started coming to the boards much earlier than that. All the newer members freak out when they see one console overtake another.

Frankly this generation has had such a ridiculous back and forth that I have come to expect the underdog making a comeback every year. What I don't understand are the veterans that continuously make fools of themselves when their favorite console starts selling well even though they have seen how out of control this gen is.

NDP?  Nintendo's Dominating Power?  No that would only sadden you more

Now NPD might bring you some joy, but the outlook isn't great.

The only thing wrong with that is that PD is filing for bankruptcy.  There are always enough posers purchasing the GTP games to get them through the  5 year waits and financing another game for them.  (Which I have never understood that aspect).  Even though I have owned every GT game except the P versions.

GT did bomb according to most here.

360 is undertracked.

PS3 is doomed until the next price cut then the 360 or Wii is doomed,  or maybe both...
