McDonald's cheeseburgers.
I only like chicken heart, but it has to be almost toasted. I don't eat morcilla, mondongo and other stuff that's either "sticky" or is not crunchy when you chew.

Not gross at all but Canadien (Quebec) Poutine
french fries, toped with gravy and cheese curds...
Vegemite!
Not as bad as some of the foods here, but some people cannot stand the taste of it. A lot of it is made from waste yeast byproduct from the major breweries.

I always wanted to try it, but apparently not even import shops sell it over here.

...Is Vegemite Marmite?
If so, :O. Can't believe they changed the name for America.
Also, yum.
| mrstickball said: America really isn't a country that excells in really strange or odd foods. Unhealthy? Sure. But I can't think of anything, outside of pig/cow testicles that are too odd. |
Well, the deeper south you go (especially with "soul food"), the stranger food gets.
It may not really be an American dish, but chitlins (pig intestines) is not bad... smells awful though.
Oh, and I ate Guinea Pig when I was in Peru (called Qui). It wasn't bad either.
Here's a new American invention - it may sound delicious or horrible, depending on your tastes: fast food sushi
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Huhu grubs. A wee bit bland, but not bad food. Just cook them over a fire on the beach.

Most of our national foods come from Quebec. But we do have plenty they are just really fat or really sugary. Like Butter Tarts.
