I agree, even though I was disappointed in the game, not because its horrible but because its really imperfect. Its done some things so well and had a great premise but a lot of the implementation of idea's wasn't done well. If you read the analects you'll see there was so much potential.

One thing I did like a lot was the music in the game, it was memorable and the boss battle themes were really great. My favourite tracks:

Go ahead, its a ok game, even good if it wasn't called Final Fantasy, just know you do nothing but go straight for most of the game, the story makes no sense unless you read the datalog but the battle system and music is very good. If you go in accepting all of that you might get a less disappointing experience than I got. Or you might like it a lot like some of my friends.
