Doesn't mean much when it's dead everywhere else. Japan is getting rather irrelevant as you can see from the 360/ps3 sales. Despite the ps3's more than 9:1 ratio over the 360 in Japan, a 3:2 ratio in America was enough to still put the 360 over the ps3

Dammit rest of the world, why can't you love the PSP as much as Japan (and I) do?

 

Dammit PSP devs, can't you make infrastructure multiplayer instead of ad-hoc only?  Not everyone lives within 10 ft of another PSP owner outside of Japan :(

Possible, but unlikely, as I mentioned in the other thread, when the other guy posted it, :P. PSP should be ~30k behind after last week and about even this week. After that, DS should retake the crown and keep it. Till the end of time.

The 360/ps3 gap in america is cancelled out by the ps3/360 gap in Japan so far this year , hardly irrelevant.

To be fair though during 2008 it was already very close. PSP was actually ahead of DS by pretty big margin but then came DSi and with it DS managed to pass PSP before year ended.

That would be a great news. The PSP had a better line-up of games this year.
