I think 20 million lifetime is pretty much assured. I figure a 1/3 attach rate. So given everyone is predicting >60 million for 360 LTD then >20 million Kinects is pretty well on the money. I will be amazed if it makes it to a 50% attach rate. That would really be something, and it's not beyond the realms of possibility either. I think 2011 sales, and especially holiday 2011 sales, will give us an idea of the life time Kinect sales potential.

In almost all cases with Xbox titles, they sell a lot at first, and then stop selling. So I don't know how this is going to work.

Michael Pachter? Seriously? Don't use him as a ref on things, he's mostly full of hot air and guesses.

I still maintain that I find it highly unlikely that Kinect will sell 20 million units worldwide, Pachter be damned. He's the John Lucas of analysts.

20 million is a foregone conclusion at this point.  the real question is can it get to 35 or so.
