november 2010 360 sales are very strange. 

It was up roughly 10% on 2009 sales for the first 3 weeks and then went absolutely mental on black friday week. 

I think december sales will be 10-20% higher than december 2009 for 360. Meaning: 

first week: 500-550K (actually more likely 550-600K) 

second week: 600-650K 

third week: 750-800K 

forth week: 825-900K 

Total: 2,675-2,950K

I think PS3 will be down 10-20% from last years december. Meaning it's going to be very close between 360 and PS3.

I think the 360 can get atleast one 1 Mill selling week. But does anyone else believe that the DS, Wii, 360, and PS3 will all have 1 Mill selling weeks in one week ?

No you're not confused. The thread is about estimating and looking at how Dec sales will turn out, the only reason I add the PS3 chart is because of the benchline it's set. I'm not comparing it to this years PS3 sales (like I said, if PS3 sold 1.5 mill a week each week of DEC, the thread would still be valid and useful for looking at possibly Dec sales for 360)

and also like I said, just because it features the word PS3 doesn't mean it's a VS thread ...

Edit - and nobody even mentioned the wii, or Kinect damaging their sales, or what PS3 sales this year will be, yet (as always) you come into a pro 360 thread with some inane silly post.

Setting benchline is comparing no matter how you put it. You created again a useless thread which you already have to tell us how the 360 will outsell PS3 numbers from November and December, and you call this a 360 thread.You may name it a 360 thread, but OP doesnt follow through.

Ugh . . no, when I made this thread "360 outselling PS3" did not cross my mind at all, 360 having the best NOV so far did. And to be frank, it's pretty clear why you don't like these threads, hence you stealth them with ridiculous comments. You can treat it like a PS3 v 360 but it isn't.

And I hope PS3 outsells 360 a week in Dec and 360 posts it's best Dec numbers over PS3/360 history just to prove to you this thread is valid and a good way of predicting 360 sales for the next few weeks. Instead of bitching why not go make a PS3 one?

People are too hard on you Seece, maybe it' because you signiture is pure 360.

I think all you wanted to do was show how the 360 has outsold the 360 and PS3 (Both HD consoles), for every week in November. You included both because the 360 had a strong 2008, and the PS3 had a strong 2009, both with fluctuating strong points.

I'm pretty sure the 360 will sell strongly over the Holidays, It's sales have jumped since Kinect, which clearly has appeal to casual gamers (hence not the head strong sales profile CoD has). It could do anything from 2.5-3.5 million, but either way it's 360 peak year, and it may set the benchmark for best selling Nov/Dec for an HD console.

It will be close between the PS3 and 360 this fall, but thats not the topic of the thread.

That looks simply incredible, it should monster the 2009/10 YOY comparisons. I believe you should include the final week in December. 6 days / 7 days falls within December so obviously it should count and you can bring in that last week for the other years as well because the sales are biased towards December and all of them have a significant number of days within the month of december. It is what I do when I do comparisons like this.

I hate predicting ahead of time but still that looks like we're going to have the best 360 December in its entire life all because of Kinect.

Well isn't GT from Japan, so are FFs? I don't think that Japan is a dying market, it's just pro Sony/Nintendo, anything that MS attempts there is just rebuked. But when compared in sales, I think that even UK is on par or moves more HW/SW than Japan.. A million week in a 5th year of the console life? That is fun times indeed, as I don't think that 360 has ever had a million week yet.

Nintendo, also Square enix sells, even though their games aren't all that good. Kinect wont be big in Japan since it can't even be played in the average Japanese household and i don't really see anything else that could win Japan over from M$. PS3 only sell like hotcakes over there since it has blu-ray and Wii is their casual console, since it can be played in smaller homes, unlike Kinect. M$ got nothing for Japan really.
