I would love another 2D Mario on Wii :( I hope so but I doubt it.

Metroid Other M was a POS. If they want to return it to it 2D roots they should keep it away from sakamoto.

As much as I'd love a new 2D Metroid, it's not gonna happen anytime soon. ='( The Wii has already had 2 Metroid games, as well as a Metroid collection. And since none of these three were great sellers, I think we'll have to wait quite a while for a new Metroid, let alone a new 2D Metroid.

So, I think Nintendo's next 2D full retail game will a new Yoshi game, or something like that. A new 2D Zelda would be awesome, but I just can't see it happening.

I say Konami should bring out an old style Castlevania.  Even if Tecmo will make a old style Ninja Gaiden that would be great too. Bring back the classics with classic 2D action and I'll buy it day one (just als long as it is not digital distribution).
