PS3 Death Month!!!!! I had to wipe my hard drive :/

I got YLoD. *sighs* Second time.

What really fucking bugs the shit out of me, though, is that we have 3 PS3s and 2 360s (well, we have 1 now, but did have 2), and I am the only one who actually takes care of my console and I don't even play it as much as my brothers, and yet my PS3 has failed twice, all other PS3s and the 360s, haven't had a single issue.

Oh, and my HDD has needed to be wiped a couple of times on top of that, too.

I had mine for a year and had a little over 100 hours of play time and it crashed on me, my REFURBISHED 360 lasted longer with me playing it daily >:O

Yeah, I think I'll pass on that one.

Mmhmm, one of the 360s (the one that's sold now), was bought second hand. Never had any issues with it.

I feel for you.

I'm sort of wondering does my original 60GB have a clock ticking down to it's death soon. I've had it for over 3 years, and it must have countless hours of use on it. The thing barely gets turned off in my house (4 people play it.)

I'm thinking of maybe selling it and getting a slim for xmas, before it possibly gives out.

My first unit was a launch unit, died in the summer of '08 (literally 20 minutes after I purchased Burnout: Paradise, which got stuck in there, and I didn't get the disc back for like 3 months :|). My second unit was a refurb, "courtesy" of Sony (as if I should be thankful for warranty), which I obviously got that summer and lived to about an hour ago.
