Amazon had a lightning deal today and so i got it for $30. Im not sure if i will regret buying this or not. I usually don't buy sports games. If you have this game can you tell me if I made the right choice?

I've heard it's the best NBA, or even sports game, this generation.

 I've only heard positive things, but not an NBA fan myself so can't really comment. Review wise I think you're onto a winner, afterall I think EA cancelled their NBA game because this one kicked it's arse so hard lol.

 When people say it's the best sports game of the gen though, I do have to question if they're played FIFA 10 or FIFA 11 :P.

The last NBA game I owned was NBA 07 for PSP, and NBA Shootout 2003 I think for PS2. I also bought this game but have yet to play it. I loved both of these games, and I'm sure I'll love NBA 2k11, as I've also heard only good things.

I'm not a huge fan either, but the games are usually fun in general.

It's an awesome game and if you like basketball you won't be disappointed. Even some of my friends that don't ever play sports games bought 2k10 after playing @ my friends place and this one is even better.

Aside from the NBA Street series, I haven't bought a basketball game since Live '98.  But if you want an NBA game, what's your options?  There is no Live/NBA Elite this year.  Plus, you can't go wrong with Air Jordan!

i got it on my ps3, its awesome man, so yes you made the right choice, it also has the best soundtrack in any Basketball game ever. but i dont know what people are saying the graphics are amazing, it looks Ugly to me, especially the Character Models lol.
