I've only heard positive things, but not an NBA fan myself so can't really comment. Review wise I think you're onto a winner, afterall I think EA cancelled their NBA game because this one kicked it's arse so hard lol.
When people say it's the best sports game of the gen though, I do have to question if they're played FIFA 10 or FIFA 11 :P.
