Here's hoping the game doesn't flop in the rest of the world.

Although I was half expecting it.

A PS3 port looks closer than ever, imo.

I think it was already discussed by the game dev itself.

Yeah I agree with EssosDeeos. This has xmas day written all over it.

I AM sad if it does poorly, I love Micky, but just wish this had a HD port and more platforming without the brush. I hope it does well though.

HD port could still happen.

straight port for PS Move and a port for 360 with just joypad platforming, perfecto!

Move and Kinect has note the precision and speed needed for the paint brush, and without the brush it is only another plattformer.

I don't think a PS360 is anywhere near. Only if the game is a big success on the Wii. Without success on the Wii why should the Devs bother to make a PS360 port? Jump&Runs always don't have success on PS360.

Not what I had expected of Epic Mickey...

Honestly, though, the UK isn't the country to be watching if you want to determine whether it's a success or not.

Edit: A little off-topic, but if the game flops in the US, I think I'll use the above pic as my sig.

If I were you. I won't do it. Someone will strike you with a banhammer so you better not do it.

Spector hasn't implied a port, he's just been asked about one (almost constantly) and he usually replies with an "it's possible to do a port" but also with an "it's not happening now" and often an "I'm a Nintendo fanboy" for good measure.

Epic Mickey getting ported probably hinges on it being an overwhelming success on Wii, on it essentially making itself an attractive subject for porting (ie: popular game goes to larger audience), especially now that Disney's changing direction away from dedicated consoles to browser/app gaming.

I doubt they will bother with a port as late ones tend to perform poorly.

Anyway wasn't there an article not too long ago about how Disney was moving away from developing for homeconsoles?

will sell more in week2......

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I didn't even realise it was out. May just get this, not for Mickey, but because Warren Spector is a living legend.

Anyway, I think it'll have legs. Has Mickey, should sell well over X-mas.
