Like the title says, Cave Story is now available on DSiWare in the U.S. for 1,000 Nintendo Points, and a demo of the WiiWare version is also available for download for free.

You all officially have no more excuses to not try it out...unless you live in Europe, but you're living on borrowed time if you are.

UPDATE: And your European time is running out. According to Nicalis' twitter, Cave Story will be available in the PAL regions on December 10th for 1,000 Wii points. I'd expect the demo to go up at around that time, too.

More importantly, where the fuck is the European WiiWare version?

Going to download that demo as soon as I can use the TV.

Just bought DS version. Am very annoyed as it has no control customization and controls differently from every other Metroidvania.

If Nicalis can be trusted, it's currently in the final testing phases.

Kinda expensive too imo, considering it's lacking most of the Wii version's extras.  I thought it'd be like 800 points max. :/
