Professor Ryuta Kawashima has revealed that a new Brain Age game is in the works. Concrete details about the project have yet to be shared, however. He hasn’t been given the go-ahead to speak about the title, and the only piece of information Kawashima divulged is that it’s scheduled to be released in 2010.

Brain Age - DS - 19.41M

Brain Age 2 - DS - 14.97M

Is this another hit for DS, or for 3DS?

2010? That must be an error in the translation. I have no doubt Nintendo will release a new Brain Age, and that it'll be a 3DS title. Probably a launch one, too.

In the source they're asking the same thing. Maybe it was scheduled, but then it was push for 3DS.

Yo igual. Creo que con este y Nintendogs quieren tener juegos que muevan consolas como paso con DS, o por lo menos atraer a esos usuarios a comprarse la 3DS.

Well it could be for Wii. I mean sure Nintendo had Big Brain Academy but a Brain Age title could give the Wii another fighting chance next year. I think it would also be just as smart for Nintendo to release one on 3DS, using depth perception I'm sure theirs many new ways to train your brain.

But seriously it could be a Wii title that Nintendo has ready to give the Wii another big game for 2011. Especially considering Nintendo needs another casual hit to ignite hardware sales next year. LOZ:SS won't be enough to keep the Wii afloat next year.

This could be a system seller for the 3DS.  Depth puzzles would be absolutely amazing and show off glasses-less 3d really well

A Launch Brain Age 3DS game will be great!
