This is in the middle of the mall, outside in their activity area/foyer, not inside a store. Tons of exposure.

They had a couple of 50+ inch 3DTVs where you could play GT5 in 3D, complete with a G27 wheel set up in a racing chair. People were taking turns to race though everyone failed. The mall crowd didn't seem to know how to do driving simulation, who knows. I had my turn and drove it as cleanly as possible lots of people cheered as if I had done something extraordinary :D. The Sony guys were like, "could you come here again tomorrow and teach us how?" Well, they were peons hired to just describe the product but none of them knew how to do it properly.

They also had a couple of Move units set up on other TVs. I tried my hand at ping pong. I suck so bad.. I lost 21-0 or something to the lowest difficulty A.I. opponent.. Then a little girl came after me and destroyed him..

Anyway, it was good advertising except that the Sony guys there didn't know what the hell they were doing. Just sharing.. random..

I blame games like NFS Blur and Burnout, it seems nobody knows how to drive straight and fairly anymore.

Honestly this sounds exactly like Nintendo's booth at the PNE last year. The employees knew shit. Infact the Nintendo employees came from a modeling company, I asked if they worked for Nintendo and they were like "Our modeling company was contracted to run this booth". I was like WTF!

I bet those Sony reps weren't even Sony employees. Sony probubly hired a modeling agency too. If you want to actually talk to real Sony and Nintendo employees you have to go to PAX or E3.

No way they would have employees from SCE or SONY at those booths.
